Pointing out a "fat" UFC fighter in private is like criticizing Obama's public speaking skills. I'd like to see you give a better speech or become President.
Pointing out a "fat" UFC fighter in person is like pulling on Superman's cape. Have fun with that...

If you think you're great at a particular skill, don't brag about it because everything is relative.
An American shouldn't brag about their ability to play soccer because there's probably a British, Spanish, or Brazilian teenager who could embarrass them. The same is true for the folks in Hong Kong I watched play basketball or the British I've seen dancing.
As Erasmus said, "In the land of the blind, the one eye'd man is king".

Twitter is like the Game of Thrones "Walk of Atonement".
Giving the public a vehicle to provide anonymous, unsolicited feedback is never a good idea. When you hear what people actual thinks of you, it might change your outlook.
When Alfred Nobel read his own obituary (after being mistakenly published) it prompted the creation of the Nobel prize.

Watching Brazilian Soccer fans (or other soccer fanatics for that matter) reminds me of watching a child's supermarket temper tantrum. Any slight disappointment is met with kicking, screaming, and unnecessary crying.
I find it quite entertaining because it's not my child.

Non-fiction "classics" are like radio food shows. The message doesn't fit the delivery system.
If your goal is to send a message about _x_ (society, adulthood, responsibility, etc...) than hiding your message in 200 pages of boredom isn't effective. Put it in a speech, movie, article, blog post...
If your goal is to entertain, well then, that's something totally different.
Great, you're standing in a field of rye catching kids falling off a cliff, wonderful....
